Principal's Message

Dear Parents/Guardians:
Welcome to the 2024-25 school year. As we start the new school year together on Monday, August 19, 2024, the staff at Ericson Elementary School looks forward to working with you and your child. Our staff strongly believes that the education of children is a partnership between the home and the school, and that parental involvement is crucial to the success of our students. Please mark August 22, 2024, from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. for Back to School for TK-6th grade. We invite you to come to meet our staff and receive important information about the coming school year. We will also hold our Annual Title I Meeting on August 22, 2024, in the cafeteria from 4:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
Our Ericson Elementary office will extend their hours on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, for late registration. The office will be open through 7:00 p.m. Class lists will be posted by 6:00 PM on Thursday August 15, 2024. These lists will indicate your child’s teacher and room number. No room changes will be made prior to Tuesday, September 9, 2024. Please note that due to the possible enrollment changes we may need to create or collapse classrooms. There is a possibility that your child may be moved to a different class. We will contact you if this occurs.
Parent conferences will be held during the week of October 21-25. Dismissal for students in TK/K will be at 12:30 p.m. and students in grades 1 – 6 will be at 1:30 p.m. each day to accommodate the parent conference schedule. Students will follow the Early Release Day Schedule every Tuesday unless there is a holiday or Buyback, if so, they will follow the Regular School Day Schedule.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m.-7:50 a.m. and our after-school program is available daily until 6:00 PM, if your child is enrolled. Continue to check the transportation website for updates to bus routes: https://transportation.fresnounified.org/bus-routes/
